He said that at present, the department does not have the idea of closing the schools in the state or making any such new arrangement. The department is continuously monitoring the figures of Kovid. If there is such a need, then things will be kept in the Crisis Management Group (CMG) headed by the Chief Secretary and a decision will be taken.
He emphasized that there is a need to maintain the Common Standard Precautions in schools. Keep the distance you want to maintain. Avoid crowded areas and always wear a mask. He said that at present all the schools are being run on 100% attendance. In such a situation, there is a better atmosphere between the child and the teacher.
