Workers engaged in construction works at all sites including buildings, roads, bridges, ponds will get the facility of cashless treatment from April 1. For this, work is going on to connect 12 lakh 50 thousand construction workers registered in Madhya Pradesh Building and Construction Workers Board with Ayushman Yojana. The family of laborers will get free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh annually. The Karmakar Mandal has tied up with Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Society for this.

Anurag Choudhary, CEO of Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Society, said that the workers of the unorganized sector, including the workers engaged in government schemes, buildings, roads, registered in the Karmakar Mandal will be given cards by making cards. For this, camps will be set up at construction sites. Apart from this, the card holder workers of Karmakar Mandal can also get the card made at the Kiosk Center by taking their labor card, Aadhar card and Samagra ID.
Workers will get this benefit
Sometimes workers get injured during construction work. After the workers were injured while working at a height, they could not get treatment due to financial constraints. In MP, 90 percent are workers in the unorganized sector. In such a situation, they will be able to get free treatment facility from Ayushman Yojana.
The workers' board will bear the cost of treatment
The workers' board will bear the expenses on the treatment of construction workers under the Ayushman scheme. An amount of about Rs 1052 per worker will be deposited in the Niramayam Society by the Karmakar Mandal as annual premium. Here in the Ayushman Yojana, special preparations are being made for this scheme.
